And leave ALL space 'exploration' to the private sector and the military.

NASA is a pathetic, bureaucratic group that has done little more than get 17 astronauts killed thanks to 'go fever'.
And spend shit loads of money for little in return that could not have been done by the private sector at ZERO tax dollars and probably far less people killed.

Keeping in mind that almost EVERYTHING that NASA has ever used was manufactured by the private sector.

Space X would never has been launched without NASA aka government funds. I also doubt very much if they are interested in doing pure research, they exist to make money. Remember that the JWT was launched on an ESA rocket not NASA or Space X.
