I will add this... 40,000 years before Mithraism, civilizations practiced ritual burials with ceremonial red ocher. They obviously believed in some kind of afterlife or spiritual world.

I can also add this... Biology and the study of animal behavior has indicated that living organisms behave in a certain way for a reason, nothing behaviorally is ever present that is without purpose or reason. Sometimes it takes us many years to determine the reason, but there always is a reason for any behavioral characteristic. In humans, we have a profound need to worship a higher authority. Whether that be God, Nature, Nature's God, The Sun, Little Green Men, or Science. It's just how we are programmed as humans. Going purely by what we've observed in every other species of living organism, there must be a reason for this behavior, else it would not exist in man.

It's terrible logic, and I'm a believer. Man feels a need to believe in something for reasons that are completely independent of that something existing. You apply this logic the same way you apply all of your logic; you try to make it fit your conclusion, but it's just not the case.

And YES, it is called "solar wind" because it is just like WIND on earth. In fact, we have sent spacecraft into the solar system propelled by "solar sails" which act just as a sail on a ship in the ocean with the wind on earth.

I never said anything about limitations of physical principles, but the principles of physics have not explained the acceleration of the solar winds, and in that regard, they have been defied. It's possible there are physics principles in play that we don't understand or comprehend at this time, but that is just like it being possible a God is causing the solar winds! We don't fucking KNOW what we don't fucking KNOW! Regardless of how much you want to maintain we do!

It can't be atmospheric pressure because that doesn't exist in the vacuum of space, and it can't be thermal expansion as theorized by Parker because the rate of acceleration defies principles of physics as we understand them. The question remains out there, and you have still not answered it. You've given a speculative opinion that "something" is causing the acceleration of the solar winds, and on that point, we both agree... "something" is indeed causing it! WHAT, we don't know!

It's in quotes to help keep you from getting confused. You look at "wind" and a solar "sail" and think of a pirate ship in space. Solar "wind" is nothing at all like wind on earth. I'm trying to help a brother out.

Plasma particles are NOTHING AT ALL like what causes wind on earth. We know what causes solar wind. We can't explain all of it's acceleration because a hidden force below the corona, which we can calculate with physics, is helping it along. The fact that we can calculate it should tell you without a doubt that it's well within the realm of physics. We just can't observe what's happening below the corona yet.

Seriously, saying that solar wind is like earth wind makes you look fucking retarded. Using solar sails to make your point is equally retarded. I'm trying to decide if you need a lesson in what earth wind is, since you clearly don't know that either. My guess is it would be a total waste of time.
