It looks like the jury is giving it thought.

Do you think they're struggling to find some fine print to let the murderer walk?
More likely struggling to find fine print to not see self defense. Impossible to not see the obvious from multiple cameras, camera angles and from admitted prosecution witnesses who scored points for the defense, not to even mention defense witnesses.

Once I got a load of the judge's antics I felt the case was lost. Starting with him saying the victims couldn't be called victims.

This is OT but when I followed the Steven Avery case in Making a Murderer, it gave me a bad vibe about the criminal justice system in WI. And Schroeder comes off as a crooked p.o.s. IMO.

To me he is a grandstander, who loves publicity and his face in the media... but he IS really old and most likely does not want to leave a legacy of having one of his most infamous trials be overturned on appeal due to judicial misconduct.

I don't think he'll have to worry about that. He's handing Rittenhouse an acquittal on a silver platter, so there won't be an appeal.

He's off the bench in '16, I believe.

I saw Rittenhouse pretending to cry. Odd how there were no tears.

Odd that you say that, you must not have actually seen it because there were clearly actual tears. It's one of the first things I looked for when I heard about it.

Basically either he's a fantastic actor who will amaze us with his acting skills in later life, or he's a barely 18 year old kid who has a bit of PTSD. Neither of those things speaks to whether or not what happened was justified by self defense or not.

I saw a lot of pretend hyperventilating. I didn't see actual tears, but that could be because I was laughing my ass off.
