Yes, both are instances of people terminating human life. As I said, we can have the philosophical debate over when it is ethical and moral to kill human beings, but only when we are ALL on the same page with regard to what abortion is. It's not simply a matter of a woman's body, it's not just a 'clump of cells' or a 'chicken egg', it is the willing termination of an innocent human life. You want to have a debate over when that is ethical and moral, that is fine, but that is where the debate has to begin, not with this false pretense that a fetus/embryo is non-human or not alive.

My argument is that if you're going to use the term "murder" in regards to abortion, or in your words "killing innocent life", then Iraqi fetuses and babies killed in the war were "murdered" also. An Iraqi (Afghani, etc.) fetus hasn't lived or experienced life and was helpless to prevent his death.

Your idiots included Bush II. You religious freaks get into office and attempt to institute abstinence only education, DESPITE the fact that we know it not only doesn't work but winds up increasing instance of teen pregnancy and STD transmission.

Here's what YOU wrote "...so if you think there's a kid out there that doesn't know what contraception is, teach it to them.....personally, I think you miss the boat by not teaching them not to fuck....after all, there isn't much chance of getting pregnant if you don't fuck....."

The sheer ignorance of this statement is pathetic. In trying to be sarcastic, you essentially promote abstinence over sex education that includes contraception. By your "logic", abstinence teaching is superior and would have better results than teaching about contraception. As I pointed out, abstinence teaching alone won't cut it....as the unwanted pregnancy, STD and abortion rate sky rocketed WHEN THERE WAS NO SEX EDUCATION.

Grow a spine and stick by your convictions instead of trying to weasel out when proven wrong. If you can't admit you're wrong, or recognize how general knowledge of recent history contradicts your opinion, that is truly sad.

/shrugs....abstinence has never increased pregnancy or transmitted a disease.....and, as I said....teach all the contraception you want.....

"slaughtering" a baby translates that a baby, post birth with ambilical cord cut and breathing on it's own, was then murdered by the attending physician. So unless you have proof of this, you're full of it. Anti-abortionist have a bad habit of generalizing terms when it suits them...try not to repeat that BS here.
