No, they are humans killed in a war. The big difference I see is, people who are killed in a war zone, generally have some chance to do something to prevent their death. They can get into a bomb shelter, leave the country and become refugees, or denounce their government who pissed someone off and caused a war. Not always, but most of the time, this is the case. In any event, they have lived a life, experienced things, done things. Such is not the case with a fetus in the womb, they have no chance to do anything to prevent their death. They haven't lived or experienced life at all, and will be completely denied that opportunity, and they are helpless to do anything about it in every instance.
Yes, both are instances of people terminating human life. As I said, we can have the philosophical debate over when it is ethical and moral to kill human beings, but only when we are ALL on the same page with regard to what abortion is. It's not simply a matter of a woman's body, it's not just a 'clump of cells' or a 'chicken egg', it is the willing termination of an innocent human life. You want to have a debate over when that is ethical and moral, that is fine, but that is where the debate has to begin, not with this false pretense that a fetus/embryo is non-human or not alive.
