Turkey is currently in the process of dropping out of NATO in favor of Russia

Turkey is asserting itself as an upcoming power and is not willing to submit to the west/USA.

This is yet another propaganda post from Anatta, who is clearly a Russian asset.

Turkey spent nearly 60 years cultivating NATO to protect itself from Russia...one strongman dictator, who will be gone by the end of the decade either by assassination or by coup, will never get that wish.

But Turkey is being forced to deal with Russia -just like Egypt was -becuase of stoopid stuff like suspending F-35 sales to Turkey since it bought the Russian S-400

It's also in Libya -sending jihadists from Syria, but also acts to check Russia in Syria.

Its complicated -far beyond your simplistic minds ability to grasp

Probably because we don't want Turkey to use our weapons to attack the Kurds.

Incoherent.

No, it's not complicated...it's you propagandizing for Russia, which is all you've done in the three years I've been on JPP.

Other posters have alluded to a time before Trump when you weren't like this, but something clearly happened that turned you into a mouthpiece for Russia on the internet...

My guess? Kompromat. You're only posting this shit because if you don't, some damaging information about you will be released.

It's bought from the US.

So they probably didn't want Turkey using MORE US arms against the Kurds than it already does.
Turkey isn't going after the Kurds now. They do occasionally -across border.

The Kurds are a non-factor in arms sales to Turkey....it's about da Russians

Every lie he has told is straight from Russian FSS playbook. So too with Trump.

I mean DHS specifically called it out in September 2020:

We assess that Russia is likely to continue amplifying criticisms of vote-by-mail and shifting voting processes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic to undermine public trust in the electoral process.
https://www.scribd.com/document/474711820/DHS-Russia-Intel-Sept-3-2020-Voting-w-Redactions

They said that on 9/3/20...which was about a month and a half after Anatta posted this on 7/23/20:

I didn't ask for a mail in, I would have never known it was sent except my Russian neighbor
( who values American democracy more then most Americans) was kind enough to bring it over
return postage paid envelope included.. what could possibly go wrong?? :palm:

So that's pretty much proof positive that Anatta is a Russian troll who is spreading Active Measures on the internet.

Soviet Union was a Slavic-Turkic alliance. The Azeris, Uzbeks, Turkmen, Kyrgyz, Kazakhs and several ethnic groups in Russia all speak Turkic languages. The Turks in Turkey and the Uighurs in China were the only Turkic people on the planet to fall outside of this alliance.

After the US’s missteps in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East, Turkey has decided to work with Russia on forging an alliance that would incorporate these Turkic-speaking former-Soviet Republics.

Working hard to earn those Rubles? I hope it's worth it.

Why would anyone go after the YPG at all?
I know Erdogan does, he's a peckerhead.
Erdogan considers the PKK a terrorist organization
They did the March 2016 Ankara bombing

Im not an expert but they appear to be more a political wing of Kurds independence groups.

But the YPG are militias in Syria
These were the Kurds Erdogan went after when Trump was president.

Erdogan claimed he was going to create a "buffer zone" for displaced Syrian refugees.
Erdogan went in about 40 kilometers and a couple hundred miles to clear them out.
He used artillery and armored vehicles to push the Kurds east

YPG is an acronym whose translation means People's Protection Units. It is the home grown defense forces of the Kurdish area of Syria. It emerged after the Civil War erupted in Syria and started to spill over into Syrian Kurdistan, now known as Rojava, or Western Kurdistan.
