America covers much territory. British ' power ' shrank as the UK lost its illegally-gained territory of Empire. The decline of the USA won't be anything like as swift or dramatic.
The Izraeli fascists are well aware of the importance of territory- but times have changed and they won't be gaining an inch . They can't even be absorbed into the USA- as there's a Latino majority on America's horizon and the End Is Nigh for white suprematism.
The Brits hope to hold onto their Security Council seat by way of nuclear power. One way of securing it is to dupe the public into believing that civil nuclear power is safe- and so come to accept nuclear weapons. Where to actually keep them will become a problem though as the Scots are about to throw them out. More Empire shrinkage.
