9-11 was the worse attack on American soil with the possible exception of Pearl Harbor
1/6 was a riot by a bunch of hotheads that was a one and done without pre-planning
9-l1 and Pearl were planned with military precision
so we are back to Obama's "Islam is a religion of peace"
Are the Taliban peaceful? ISIS? Haqqani? etc. Biden is such a fucking dolt
President George W. Bush said "Islam is a noble faith"
Trumpism = extremism.
That's why some on the right don't like these comments from Bush.
That is typical simplistic bullshit from the left.
I'm open to other explanations.
Why would some on the right be upset w/ Bush criticizing domestic extremism?
Please provide some details.
Why are you assuming domestic terrorism is only from the right?
Where did I say that? Please provide the verbiage.
Trumpism = extremism.
That's why some on the right don't like these comments from Bush.
What people on the right are those? While he may be right, who gives a fuck what Bush has to say now? Or any other former President.
Trumpism DOES = extremism. That in no way says it's the only extremism.
I already said previously on this thread that extremism exists all across the political spectrum. But it seems like only the righties on this thread are upset about Bush criticizing it.
Then he just pissed on the hero’s of 9/11 and the victim’s families.
I officially regret ever voting for the man.
He is talking about homicidal *****domestic terrorists and insurrectionists, and making the point they are as dangerous to USA as the ISIL criminal gang.
Thats my take on what he said.I have a different take. I don’t think he was disrespectful in any way to the memories of those who lost their lives on 9/11.
Reading through Twitter there are people on the right who don’t like the speech but this is always who Bush has been. He’s always been pro-immigration and used positive rhetoric towards immigrants. He called out Islamic extremism when in office but not the Muslim religion as a whole. It’s why I always laughed when people called him a racist. In his speech today he referenced those who want
to defile (FTFY) national symbols. Maybe that can be interpreted in different ways but I don’t see that as a shot at the right.
He didn’t get into the weeds when talking about domestic extremism but I personally didn’t see an issue with it.
I officially regret ever voting for the man.
I think it's pretty obvious. trump's Nazi coalition is no better than Al Qaeda
