Here's the truly sad part, both were in their rights of self-defense. Zimmerman was a wannabe-cop/night watchmen who was too fucking stupid to be a Mall Cop. Still, we all have a right to defend ourselves.

The difference with Rittenhouse is that he was misled to go look for trouble. His "militia" misled him to go across state lines and, illegally armed, go looking for trouble.

FWIW, I carry. My days of running toward the gunfire are over. The professionals can handle it. In such a situation, I'd be telling people to follow me away from the gunfire to a rear exit. My .38 is for then they come through the door like Ashli Babbitt and I have no other place to go.

Zimmerman and Rittenhouse, not to mention Babbitt, went looking for trouble and found it. Babbitt's dead, but the lives of the first two are ruined.

Was Benghazi investigated 6 times because the Repubs were being fair and open? The Trump insurrection was the most dangerous time for America since 1812. They trashed the capital bldg and killed guards while injuring 140. This was a horrible incident and demands investigating.
