Possible Identity Of Ashli Babbitt Killer As Lt. Mike Byrd

Since you seem to think you watched it, explain how the other officers were in any line of fire as you claimed. Do bullets no longer travel in a straight line?

A large crowd that could follow her through the opening is clearly a threat. Preventing the first person from getting through works to deny others the opportunity.
Are you really so blind and stupid that you think Ashli Babbit was the only person in that hallway?
Several people were trying to break the glass in the door just before she went through the window.

Here is a picture of some of the people there.

Forgive me but I thought the cops were supposed to only shoot you for what you do not for the actions of others. BABBITT was UNARMED she wasn't a threat to anyone.

She was trying to break in to kill elected representatives.

She got off EASY...she didn't have to go to court and admit under oath that you and Trump tricked her into attacking the Capitol...like so many of your "very fine people" have already done because they're all snitches in the end who can't keep their big fuckin' mouths shut.

Yes, and if a mob broke out your window, calling for your death, and was crawling through the window at your house, you wouldn't shoot them right?

NICE TRY GENIUS!
Depending on the ROE, I would have ordered a volley when they breached the barriers. Most certainly once they breached the interior barriers close to Congressional personnel. Had I been in charge, all of those pressing against barriers, like the ones crushing the cop in the door, would have received a volley. If that didn't stop them, then the command would be "fire at will".

FWIW, I think the DCPD were undertrained for this particular situation since they've obviously worked with protests before. There should be some basic strategy and interlinked training to how they handle large peaceful crowds that rise to various levels of violence.

Is there any doubt that, after Bush's decade of Iraq war and occupation that thousands of our nation's military, especially Army, are highly experienced in crowd control, both peaceful and violent?

Real Republicans would support national security, not enabling domestic terrorists like these asshole traitors:

All I know is my son is on the North Tarrant County SWAT team any he has watched the videos with me and says what that officer did would never fly on the SWAT team those officers could have been easily struck by a ricochet or a bullet could have deflected after it struck her and hit an officer. That officer was careless. He should have approached her with his weapon and the crowd would have pulled back and so would have Ashili. He is a coward that panicked and shot a 110 pound unarmed woman.

It was directed at a upward angle. And the officer was not behind her at that time.

Do you have confirmation that the police officers behind her saw her going through the window? They were coming up the stairs with multiple people on the landing blocking their view.
The other cops were in the line of fire? Do bullets travel in a circle?

Officer X ------- Babbit
_____Doorway ________
Other people outside door

------------- Police on stairs

Based on that crude representation of the location of Babbit and the other officers, how were they in the line of fire?

Yet another round of "ExpressLane is an idiot!!" won by you.

Poor Richard Saunders======> :legion:

Officer X should have stood in front of the doors before they broke them and pointed his weapon at the most aggressive member of the crowd. That would have backed him down. But officer X hide in a doorway then shot a tiny woman that probably didn't even see him.

I agree that the officers were unprepared in many ways to deal with such a huge crowd of terrorists.

This is being handled now, they are training for this kind of terrorist attack now and properly arming their officers to defend the capitol!

Who would have even thunk something like this would have happened in America? NATURALLY THEY WEREN'T PREPARED FOR THIS!

Who would have thunk this might not happen in the capital. Good lord they burned and looted across the country. Being unready to protect the Capital is stupid. But you admit it was bad training and he should not have shot Ashili Babbitt.

What??? WTF are you talking about?

This is what you said. Pay attention.

Well it went all the back to the Spanish American war since our Capitol was assaulted.

His and who ever trained him. He is a idiot who left his loaded service weapon in the visitors bathroom. Hardly something a well trained officer would do. He basically armed every visitor to the Capital building that day.

That happened in February of 2019.
