The LEO does not need to be protected. At all. If this shooting was justified then he should have no problem coming forth and democrats should not be trying to hide his identity.

The Officer that left his service weapon loaded in a Capital Hill batnroom is very likely the same guy that shot Ashli so we need to know if he has a history of bad performance on the job. From knowledgeable sources the guy that left his gun in the bathroom is Mike Byrd. He is a Black Lieutenant on the House side so that fits the description of Ashli's murder also. It will be interesting if the family gets the name of the shooter.

Then it was trespass in the way a punch in the face is being impolite. Technically it was attempted breaking and entering and destruction of government property, not trespass.
