It is called a UK variant as a designation,just a name. It is not a way to drop blame on them. It is not an insult and we are not trying to escape our bad handling of it. it is a UK variant. The main virus remains Covid 19, not the slant eye, yellow. Chinese,Chyna ,Wuhan disease.

Rarely did you hear Trump in any circumstance refer to it as Covid, or even the virus, he went out of his way to stress the Chinese virus theme, had to, anything to shield responsibility of it spreading so fast away due to his own incompetence
