USSR was the name of a country like China is name of same. those names invariably are in common usage

Cold War was the expression that became common thanks to the media picking it up and the term being apt.
CCP is nebulous lettering - not user friendly at all

Yes that's news to me since I've had no problem with the Chinese people and friends. Do you mean the Chinese government thinks the rest of the world to be subhuman?
