I'm pointing out the absurdity of things like Clinton's Motor Voter law, or the more recent HR 1 bill the Democrats are pushing. To get a driver's license you have to prove who you are and that you are eligible to get one. That means producing ID. A foreigner could produce a passport from their home country. US citizens can us birth certificates and other forms of ID to prove who they are when getting a license.
Since the concept the Democrats are pushing is that when you get a driver's license (or state issued identification card) you are registered to vote requires ID to make it happen, then persons that have gotten such an license should reasonably be able to produce an ID to vote. Yet, the Democrats want to eliminate all forms of identification requirements for the act of voting claiming that many can't get ID.
Why is that? Why the dichotomy? What vested interest do the Democrats have in not wanting voter ID?
