Waaaa, dont tax me!

Democracy in action. This is how a democracy works, we vote for people, and then live by the rules these people set!

If you perfer somethign else, move!

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

Seriously dude. When has any lib spoken about the massive and crippling debt being laid at the feet of our grandkids at this very moment? The libs want all the stuff, but they don't want to pay... is that what we should be saying?

This is exactly what the T.E.A Parties were about. People are sick of our government waste.

I have to ask then, why I didn't see one of these tea parties held while Dubya was overseeing the biggest expansion of our government in the history of our nation?

If fiscal responsibility was so damn important to all these people, then why weren't they staging these protests while the party that preaches fiscal responsibility was in power?

that is what I asked while riding my pygmy pony over to the dental floss bush.

Jarod is by far the dumbest poster on here.

I repeat Zpppa's question and mine.
A very valid point and all you can do is a one liner calling a poster stupid?

Why did we have none of the tea parties while Bush was spending like a drunken sailor?
Are you too partisan to see what has been going on?
Are you just a partisan tool to be used?

You had protests about big spending during the Bush years. Just because you weren't watching it doesn't mean it wasn't there. Several different times Congressman and libertarian-leaning Republicans revolted and demanded budget cuts. Libertarians were particularly vocal against Bush because he increased spending and the power and size of government.

If you're asking why the average Republican wasn't out in the street protesting Bush, it is indeed mostly because Bush is a Republican. But the intellectuals and upper echelon of the Republican Party were indeed critical of Bush on the spending, if not very vocal.

You like to oversimplify things, usc.

I don't know why. Maybe it is the only way you can break things down far enough to understand them, but the world is not as simple as you think it is.

It is simple. You do the right thing. It is when you do the wrong thing trying to pander to others that it gets complicated.

There was a whole thread dedicated to that question just a couple days ago. Maybe I should bump it.

I would have been there when Bush was Pres.

We all know the TEA parties had nothing to do with taxes and had everything to do with racism and/or partisanship. Just read the signs.

Because most republicans can't stand blacks
Says the guy who shamelessly uses the "n" word to describe black people. Please, you have no room whatsoever to attempt to justify your own racism by projecting it onto others.

So you dont like our system of government?
