The conservatives claim to be against entitlements.... But they want the biggest entitlement of all.... to not be taxed!



They wanted Iraq, but did not want to pay for it.

They want security and a war on terror, but they do not want to pay for it.

They want protection from crime, but they do not want to pay for it.

They want abortion laws, and enforcement of such, but they dont want to pay for it.

They want prayer in schools, but they dont want to pay for the schools.

They want want want, but dont want to pay for it!
 
WTF??? how is it an entitlement to pay less taxes? tell you what, why don't you give 90% of all your have to the government, step up to the plate big boy. and i don't conservatives are about zero taxes, your post is wrong in so many ways.
 
One thing he is right about in a round about way, is the fact that Americans expect far more than they pay for from their government. We have been running on credit for so long on that front that we have no idea what the things we are mortgaging our future for really cost us. That we actually cheer on somebody who tremendously increases the same.

That was the point of the T.E.A. Parties.

I am sure from your perspective you consider it stupid. But its realistic. Conservatives preach personal responsability, but never want to pay up when the bill comes.

Damo you know as well as I do that the majority who turned out just hate the democrats.

They woudl have been there if it was just about protesting Obama.

That film cilp of the CNN reporter made it so very obvious what the dynamic was.

Seriously dude. When has any lib spoken about the massive and crippling debt being laid at the feet of our grandkids at this very moment? The libs want all the stuff, but they don't want to pay... is that what we should be saying?

This is exactly what the T.E.A Parties were about. People are sick of our government waste.

It's a lame argument Jarod because conservatives aren't suggesting we pay no taxes which is what you are essentially claiming.

The ignorance of your comment stems from the fact that the above is complete bullshit. Idiots like you pretend that conservatives are against all taxes and all government programs. Which is completely false.

What conservatives (fiscal that is) want is a RESPONSIBLE government. One that pays for things as it goes. Yes, occasionally there will be a need to borrow against the future revenue of the country (right now is an example), but we expect in the good times for the government to pay back what they borrow.

For 50 years the idiots in the two parties have borrowed. EVERY SINGLE YEAR. THAT is what pisses off fiscal conservatives.... whether it was done by Bush or Obama, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson or Kennedy.

Ike was the President the last time our nations debt was lowered in a fiscal year.

essentially, he in fact made that claim which is untrue. its funny how the left constantly complained about bush and that was patriotic, but when the right says something against obama and the dems in power, we're whining.

I complained about it plenty when Bush was doing outragous spending that was not designed to stimulate the economey. I am for keeping the deficit down, but until spending is cut, I belive we should pay more in taxes to pay the debt.

Dont cut taxes while increasing spending, thats the most illresponsable thing to do. Thats what pushes the debt onto our kids.

Id rather be a tax and spend liberal than a borrow and spend conservative.

The difference is that Bush was cutting taxes while increasing spending.


At least Obama is increasing taxes while increasing spending. One small step better!


Done cut taxes until you have cut spending.

It is good that you complained about the fiscal irresponsibility of Bush. But that does not change the fact that your comments regarding conservatives not wanting to pay any taxes or pay for any government programs was nothing short of idiotic.

School vouchers = take the money you would have given to a public school for my kid and give it to a private school of my choice instead.
