Ironically, the only literal actual *incitement on record* is Sullivan trying to provoke the rioters into torching the building.

In one sense, they are cowards for not indicting Trump if they really believe he’s guilty of inciting an insurrection.

The fact they are settling for theatrics and a show trial is telling.

I don't even know how a statement like the bolded is possible.

The attack on the Capitol didn't exist in a vacuum. It's not something that would have happened with or without Trump.

Of course Trump incited that crowd. Please.

What they fail to understand is that people can be incited just by their own interpretation of the evidence. IOW, they don’t need Trump to tell them the election was fraudulent. Did Trump help matters? No. Does that mean he was the causative agent?
