What irony? I think both sides played politics on whether they would get the vaccine and the corona in general, I mean if we are putting people to the back of the line, I think all politicans should go there, as well as those who said they wouldn't take one developed under the trump admin.


in reality, I don't care, but if we are going to make a line, lets be balanced about who the "untermensch" are that need to be at the back of the line.

I already had this same conversation with multiple posters yesterday. I am consistently consistent. You will not catch me in a gotcha whataboutism. Shitty people are shitty people. If they didn't follow public health guidelines and put people's lives in danger, then they shouldn't get a vaccine. I don't give a shit what letter they have after their name.

Are you slow? The answer is yes. And you agree that Republicans who have been needlessly traveling, gathering in groups, ignoring social distance, and refusing to wear masks should also go to the back of the line, is that correct?

That's not what I meant. The government employee who has lied the most with the worst effects is Trump. It's laughable that anyone who supports Trump would ever have the nerve to even attempt to criticize Fauci's honesty.

I actually think the whole conversation is stupid and think that the vaccine should be handed out to those most at risk at first then first come first serve to those that want it. I think if we start looking to create an underclass, or a naughty list, your gonna have problems.

They won’t though, as Governor and Speaker of the House they are necessary workers, but, I imagine in the future they will be more aware of their actions, or one can hope.

That's fine. This particular conversation is not very important. It's not like we can suck the vaccine back out of Rubio's arm. My point is broader and speaks to the rampant hypocrisy that is one of the defining characteristics of the Republican party.

This has been going on for two days (for me). Trumpists literally cannot fathom consistency. They keep asking us if Democratic resistance to public health and safety should be penalized in the same ways that Republican resistance to public health and safety should be penalized. They're never going to understand it (mostly because they're piles of shit who don't actually stand for anything themselves), but the answer is yes. Obviously. A five-year-old understands consistency. I've said it probably twenty times in two days and they continue to stutter in post after post, "Uh, what about Gavin Newsom?" Fucking morons.
