I am starting to wonder if, in addition to lying about being a black person, if you are also lying about being a sailor. Gripe all you want. I'm happy to get a FLOTUS who's devoted her career to a field that benefits society. Teaching is underpaid and under appreciated. Just look at the comments on this thread for examples of that. I'm proud that the new First Lady has more going for her than teetering across the lawn in 6" heels.

As I keep saying, that is your prerogative. If you are only happy to get a Flotus that devoted her career to a field that benefits society, Michelle must have been a disappointment to you. And just to think, she was not even a Dr.

Biden got her degree in 2007 and became second lady of the US in 2009. Nobody cared then or in the entire eight-year Obama administration about her Ed.D. So I'm convinced this is more about the fact that her husband is going to be the next president, than it is about Jill herself.
