No they are not.

The vast majority of public school teachers are talented, dedicated professionals.

Turn education over to the private sector profiteers and the first thing they'll do is find a way to cut corners to increase profits. Before long, after society gets used to it, poor, working and middle class kids will be getting bargain basement educations while the children of the wealthy elite will be getting top notch educations.

You'll have Walmart schools on the low end of the spectrum and Nordstrom or Louis Vuitton on the high end.

Privatizing education is the dumbest, most brain-dead idea to come along since someone got the idea that Trump would make a good president.

Not even close to being true. King did not do well in math or science, but he was competing against people going to graduate school in those areas, so it would not be expected. He did very well in literature.

Meanwhile, while we do not know trump's LSAT scores, we do know they were low enough that no law school would touch him... Even with his father's money.

Hmm, does a high degree of proficiency on English hold much value?

Being able to read & write are the most important.

But, after that STEMS really supports society.

Someone with basic English skills & a high degree of STEMS is more valuable to society than someone with great English proficiency.
 
The writing "skills" of wingnuts like TDAK clearly indicate their failure to recognize the value of English teachers.
