There's a reason for that. It's because of people like you and your parents that went to the doctor/ER, didn't pay, and the cost coming to those of us that were meeting our responsibilities. '

There's an easy solution. If you can't pay, either get one of you bleeding hearts to pay the bill or do without.

Congratulations. That is not as big of a win as it used to be, but it is something. It is a good nest egg for a retirement. Assuming you invest it well, and Social Security keeps going, you should be fine.
