It isn't disrespectful to allow people to exercise the rights that they have. You don't wanna burn a flag? Don't burn one. You don't wanna kneel during the national anthem? Then stand up (or continue sitting on your couch stuffing your face with food as I suspect happens). You don't wanna marry a man? The don't.
