We also display them and pledge allegiance to them. To protest with an American flag is an act of patriotism. I noticed that most of the flags that stay out all night, every night, and never come down were at houses that ended up with Trump signs in their yards. I wasn't surprised in the slightest. If Democrats/liberals/progressives are now announcing they're "reclaiming" the American flag, shame on them for abandoning it to begin with.... They never had real pride in this country if they abandoned the flag because they hated a man....
