If you look at the map breakdown of a large number state's counties, you'll see most are red. It's only the large cities that are blue.
So, if liberals want to go by "the will of the people," by looking geographically at each state, Trump is kicking liberal ass.

That doesn't really make sense. Someone in a rural area doesn't count as more of a person than someone in the city.
