We had abortion declared illegal many years ago. It was a terrible time. Teens, and adult women went for back alley abortions. They were expensive and dangerous. Desperate women and their escorts were beaten and robbed. Sometimes raped and killed. The procedures themselves were botched and they wound up in ERs and hospitals. Some died and suffered serious damage.
It was a huge topic of conversation. Books and movies were made with it as a theme. It was never about the good ending abortion did, because it didn't.
Stopping legal abortion did not end it, but created larger and more serious problems that infected society.
Girls tried self abortion with bad results. They did serious damage to them selves in a desperate attempt to end it.

I have no idea of what "Birkenstocks" are...and had no inclination to look the word up. I know I do not have any apparel or apparatus named "Birkenstocks"...so I offered that I do not have them.

A baby only exists when born. A foetus isn't the mother's body, certainly, but it does depend totally upon it. The key point, though, is that almost all mothers, before they bear a child, want to be sure that s/he has the possibility of a decent life, and our current societies tend almost to guarantee it won't without comfortably-off parents. Other than a few very old-fashioned people, those who say they believe in 'life' just want to bully women, as far as I can see. A life in one of your ghettoes or in jail is hardly worth having, as very well you know.

A fetus is not a baby or a child. That is why it is called a fetus. At some point, the fetus matures enough to seem like a baby or a child. But if it is growing in the body of a female human...and the female human wants to terminate the pregnancy...she should be able to do so.

Almost 100% of the objections to legal abortion comes as a result of religious convictions. It should be argued that way.

Then why can the sex be determined before actual birth? What if the father wishes to raise the child? Then what? It was he who contributed to it's being, no?

Yes, most are. But being an adoptee myself, I'm glad (although I'm sure there are some who may object) that my birth mother decided to bring me into this world.

Killing an innocent life that's inside of a female body is wrong.

Girls that get abortions almost always regret it and most are headcases.

If someone kills a pregnant woman, are they not charged with a double homicide? R v W seems to be a contradiction, then, no?

I'm good with abortion up to viability, after no! I hasten to to add that many European countries that's up to 12 weeks which is too low, in the UK, it's 24 weeks which is far too long in my opinion.
 
Sex must be vaginal intercourse sans condom in the missionary position timed for conception and done quickly with as little mutual pleasure as possible.
