In 1950, average life expectancy in the US was 68.
In 2020, average life expectancy in the US is 78.6
In 1950, only 8% of the US population was over 65.
In 2020, almost 17% of the US population is over 65.
Since you love specious claims -
In 1950 when Alzheimer's diagnosis were less, Trump was not President.

Reminding people? People are still contracting it and still dying. Look at what is not being talked about now. How many posts here today on his tax cheating and Proud Boy dog whistle? We, meaning our medical scientists best guess, think, after asymtomatics taken into accord, this virus has about a 1% death ratio.

Very likely, it’s just another case lol. It happens it involves the president.
Trump is an a high risk category but his odds of beating it are still in the upper 90% range.
I have as much concern for him as he had for the folks whose lives might have been saved if he was honest about the information he had but chose not to share with the American people.
When they started dolling statins out like candy in the mid-50's, as time passed they noticed the dramatic increase in cases of Alzheimer's which has continued to this day.

Jesus is kinda like a hero of mine. I am just approaching this news of our president catching the bug in the way I think Jesus would approach it.
And I am very weak when it comes to human or animal suffering- I can't stand to think of human or animal suffering of any kind.
It is not a weakness to have empathy and sympathy...its actually a strength and one that I also have but I cannot muster it up for a selfishly cruel and sadistic individual who was very likely responsible for the death of FIVE people I know by just a few degrees of separation. I'm a New Yorker so yes, we were badly affected and yes...I've known what a POS Trump is from way back!

Oh, I understand, as I am totally upset with Donald Trump right now. Donald Trump has never given me one reason to like him or trust anything he says- and I have known about him for over 50 years.
But never would I even want to see a dog or anyone suffer or die from this horrible virus. I feel so sorry for all of these people that have died or have suffered due to this virus. I hope someone writes a book of every single obituary of every one of them some day.
He's negative -- for now. I imagine he will receive a test daily until a couple of weeks after exposure (the Tuesday debate) has passed.
COVID is not just a respiratory illness, but also one that attacks the circulatory system. For an elderly, overweight man with heart disease and high cholesterol, Trump is at high risk of a negative outcome. If he does pass, Dr. Stretch will inform us that it wasn't really from the virus, it was his pre-existing conditions.
I hope so too. The RWNJs here have sneered at him for months now with their cracks about hiding in the basement and being afraid to campaign. Now the brave trump administration is falling to Covid like a row of dominos, and I have no sympathy for any of them. They're all up for Darwin awards.
