Lets not forget about Mike Dukakis...

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) said on NBC's "Meet the Press" that he believes President Trump withheld military aid to Ukraine to "encourage" its government to investigate the Bidens, but that he will vote to acquit Trump on Wednesday because he believes the consequences of the president's actions should be decided in the next election

^Still stuck on the PHONY Ukrainian story. :palm:

At this point, in his race against Bush, Sr., he was 8 points ahead, he lost by 8 points.

There are reasons this year is likely to be very different**... but don't lose sight of this possibility.

** That was not a race against a sitting presidnet.
People were less divided and more willing to change back then.
GHWB and Dukakis were fairly unknown compared to Biden and Trump.

In Joe's defense, he would draw his shotgun and unload on any assailant that came to attack Jill. At the very least, he would go out onto the back porch and fire a warning shot.

Dukakis is comparable to Beta O'Rourke.

Right. The trial does not establish whether the president committed the actions he was accused of. It is only a vote to remove or not remove the president.

Will you cry?

I can't speak for the OP - but Trump winning a 2nd term would be a really sad moment for America.

We've already hit a sort of rock bottom by electing a divisive narcissist/pathological liar one time. Twice would say a ton about who we are....none of it good.

My favorite video of this dumbass:

Joe Biden – Buy a shotgun

Why is that snowflake? Because YOU say so? :palm:

When was Adam Schiff elected? Last I heard, he was still making an ass of his divisive, narcissist/pathological lying self in the House. :palm:

It would be all good snowflake; it would show that not ALL the American people are a bunch of whiny, low IQ dumb sheep who think BIG Government is awesome. ;)

Yes, we know it doesn’t bother you that Trump misuses the office.

Trump didn't hold impeachment hearings... The Bobbsey twins of stupidity Nadler and Schiff did. Impeachment only works where there is bi-partisan support for it, something the Democrats totally lacked. The Republicans had a minimum of it with Clinton which is why they failed. So, that formula cuts the same way for both parties. The Democrats should have stopped when they knew, KNEW they had zero support for impeachment from Republicans. By doing what they did they only weakened their position outside the party faithful, which they didn't need to continue with the process to keep them faithful.
