Had we listened to Fauci & the CDC, we'd be a lot more like Europe. Instead, we're essentially the worst country in the world right now. Thousands more will die, and the economy will suffer more.

Common sense dictates that three errors in seven months hardly disqualifies anyone considering the umpteen blunders Trump has delivered during the same time period, and, if one needs any further validation of Fauci, just look at NY, following Fauci recommendations coupled with real leadership, NY has transitioned itself from the epicenter of the virus to one of the least infected today, almost the exact opposite of Florida, Texas, and Arizona, who all followed Donald’s advice and are forced to cut back today

The U.S. CDC has inflated ours by COMBINING probable & confirmed reports.

You know where Fauci is light years ahead of you? Well, aside from everywhere. With a new virus, of course some mistakes will be made at the start.

But see, real experts like Fauci learn quickly, admit their mistakes and adjust to what ACTUALLY WORKS. Instead of you and Trump, who just stay in your lane and ignore new developments, research, studies and tangible results.

Which is why you're so wrong, and Fauci has been so right. Fauci's "leadership" ended with the last time the country really listened to him - and shut down in March. Which put us in a good spot. From there, he has been ignored. He said we were rushing to re-open without CDC guidelines - you ADVOCATED RUSHING.

We squandered every gain that was made during the shutdown. That's the tragic part of this.

Millions of Americans sacrificed so much. And the Darth/Trump/Fox crowd took that, and threw it away. All we had to do was re-open responsibly, and follow CDC guidelines.

How are cases reported?

We have three levels of case definition: suspected, probable and confirmed cases. What is measured
and reported by governments and international organizations?

Did Desantis predict enormous upticks in Corona? He should have known. He was warned. Of course, he will be among the first to open schools. He will do it during the rising pandemic. But politics drives his actions, not safety and respect for the people. He is very Trumpian that way.
 
Florida governor finally releases the true numbers of people hospitalized with coronavirus


Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis finally caved in to pressure to release the actual numbers of coronavirus cases in the state’s hospitals.

Until Friday, DeSantis had refused to reveal the true numbers, leaving many in the state unaware of just how bad the cases were. According to the Orlando Sentinel, a whopping 7,000 Floridians are in hospitals hoping they survive the virus.
