A President In Trouble.

Politalker= FOREVER IMPEACHED. She must own what she said and believes in. A disloyal ,unAmerican, treasonous piece of shit that wished financial ruin on her fellow Americans all because she wrongly thought it would help her candidate win an election. Anything she says has zero validity as she forfeited that right when she decided to root for her own countrys destruction. She is unworthy of having even the smallest voice when it comes to anything involving American politics.
That's why Poli posts here...only at JPP can you get thanked/support tor the above...

Do you blame Trump for Italy's deaths too? What about other country's China virus cases and deaths? Those Trump's fault too?

Tell us, just what did Trump do or not do that he "deserves the majority of the blame"? Be specific and reasonable (not that it's a possible, but try anyway)

You've got a short memory, in January he said that it would magically disappear, and he did nothing until the situation got out of control.

No, wrong, Trumper.

You are not that obtuse...well.

Without the virus from China which China failed to contain, there would have been no virus to spread around the world.

Every country is dealing with this virus. They are all suffering. The president stopped immigration from a China and has followed the advice of the health professionals. Now he must protect our economy which the virus caused great harm to.

Please stop the Democrat default plan to never allow a crisis to go....

Earl, Trump told us in January that it would magically dispear.

Indeed.

The POS is un-American, a traitor to the American people who are suffering and trying to feed their children.

That had nothing to do with China not confining the virus to China, where it originated and allowed to spread to the rest of the world, Trumper.

Earl, Trump did nothing until the situation got severe in this country.

It was unknowingly already being spread by returning tourists from both China and Europe. China tried to hide how contagious it was until they already had spread it around the world.

Absolutely....

No, he stopped travel from China and you called him a racist for doing so.

It saved countless lives, Trumper.

Every country is suffering from the virus from China. Is the president responsible for those countries too?

Hello Trumpet,

... in January he said that it would magically disappear, and he did nothing until the situation got out of control.

His most ardent defenders are happy to have lies crammed down their throats, but the mushy middle is not so thrilled to be losing their elders in ALFs, and not even be allowed to say goodbye or have a regular service to commemorate them.

They can open up all the businesses they like, but people are voting with their feet, and their feet are staying in their living rooms where it is safe.

The economy is not bouncing back. Republicans are pulling all the usual tricks and preventing the poor from getting assistance money. People are not paying rent, car payments, mortgages, credit card balances. There are going to be a lot of foreclosures. The real estate market is going to slump. So will used car prices and values. Many laid off workers are not getting their old jobs back. The business is not there to support it. States and Cities are in dire straights. Revenues are down, unemployment and assistance expenses are up.

DT is not going to get his 'rocking again' economy back in time for the election.

What we are seeing is...

A President In Trouble.

More horse mierda.

You want the economy to remain closed until after the election.

You even cheered the economic loss to millions of Americans and their families caused by the virus from China.

Take DT down with you.

DT is living in his own little fantasy world, which is detached from reality, and that's the scary part of DT.

Hello Gamewell45,

The only poll that is truly accurate is the one conducted on election day. All others are superfluous. :)

Polls are a very useful indicator of the preferences of the voting public. One thing has been very apparent since 2016. Rising favorable polls for DT have been touted by his defenders and falling favorability polls have been mocked as useless.

Greetings!

You make a good point. For me personally I used to put a lot of credence in polls until the 2016 election cycle and then I realized that the polls could show you winning but if minds changed 24 hours before the election no matter what the polls said the previous day, it was decided on election day. Hence my viewpoint on polling for elected office. I do, however place value on certain non-election polls; for example, who was the greatest president or your favorite hometown sports team, etc.

Hello Trumpet,

DT is living in his own little fantasy world, which is detached from reality, and that's the scary part of DT.

The rise of hate radio and Fox News have made some people quite rich, stoking RW propaganda and conspiracy theories. But the damage done has allowed the world's greatest ConMan to fool nearly half the nation all the time.

Alexander Hamilton saw it coming:

"The truth unquestionably is, that the only path to a subversion of the republican system of the Country is, by flattering the prejudices of the people, and exciting their jealousies and apprehensions, to throw affairs into confusion, and bring on civil commotion…

When a man unprincipled in private life, desperate in his fortune, bold in his temper, possessed of considerable talents, having the advantage of military habits—despotic in his ordinary demeanour—known to have scoffed in private at the principles of liberty—when such a man is seen to mount the hobby horse of popularity—to join in the cry of danger to liberty—to take every opportunity of embarrassing the General Government & bringing it under suspicion—to flatter and fall in with all the non sense of the zealots of the day—It may justly be suspected that his object is to throw things into confusion that he may “ride the storm and direct the whirlwind.”"

Enter DT, enter twitter, and voila'.

Now it is getting to the point where every single major institution and organization is scorned. The only thing which is unexplained is how these people, who would tear down government and world organizations, expect society to function in their absence.

Human life on Earth is kind of like an endurance challenge. We have certain resources at hand and we have to make it through with what we have. It's not like we can pick and choose a new planet, new resources, a new population. When what you have is not working as well as you believe it can, then the thing to do is work with what you have, try to improve it, make it work better for you.

There is no Plan B, and there is no Planet B.

If our institutions, such as the government that we created ourselves, or the WHO, are not working for us as we believe they should, then the thing to do is work to correct the flaws and cause them to do what we want and need them to do.

It is hard to imagine how conservatives think our society can function without the things which bind us together.

Polling is not intended to predict a result. Polling is intended to reflect what the result WOULD BE if the election were held on the day the poll was taken. So while it is true that people can make up their minds late, it does not invalidate the polls, nor does it render them meaningless. If they were, campaigns wouldn't bother doing them. In fact, final 2016 national polls were largely accurate. There was probably a small late swing toward Trump in the last day or two, but the final polls showed Clinton winning the popular vote by 3.3%, the actual margin was 2.1%

Thanks.

2016 simply served as a reminder that polls are of limited value. As you say, minds were changing quickly then. Only one week prior to that election, James Comey, then director of the FBI, announced an investigation into Hillary Clinton. That news was still disseminating out into the minds of the voters. Many of the polls leading up to the election did not reflect that.

The pre election polls in 2016 did show Hillary's lead evaporating, and DT rising. By the day before election, they were very close. The election day results merely reflected that same trend.
