What do Nazi and Confederate Flags have to do with ending the lockdown?

While the first Amendment was clearly written to apply only to Congress, others, such as the 2nd, were clearly written to apply to all levels of government. Unfortunately, they were often interpreted to only apply to the federal government, despite their clear wording. Thus incorporation.

The only reason the Bill of Rights were added to the Constitution was to restrict the powers of the federal government to get the support of the Anti-Federalists to ratify the document who feared the increased powers of the central government compared to the Articles of Confederation.

So, it was clearly intended to only restrict the federal government and the court reinforced this understanding in Barron v. Baltimore. The court distorted this meaning when they made free speech applicable to the states in 1925 and started the whole incorporation process.

The founders did not think the Bill of Rights were needed because they did not think the Constitution gave the federal government the power to infringe on any of those rights. So, why would they restrict the states since they were not worried about state power?

The KKK are now all avowed supporters of trump, that is fact.

Richard Spencer, organizer of Charlottesville, is now Joy Behar's BFF and an anti Trumper.

It just took him a while to figure out the State Media lied when they said Trump was a skinhead. :dunno:

The 14th amendment made no changes to the 1st amendment in any way.

The Supreme Court does not have authority to change the Constitution of the United States.

The Supreme Court's incorporation doctrine has made almost all the Bill of Rights applicable to the states today. That effectively changed the interpretation of the due process clause.

It is current law today and states cannot infringe on 1st Amendment freedoms (or any other) and there have been multiple court cases
applying those standards.

The Supreme Court just issued a ruling prohibiting the less than unanimous (10-2) jury verdict in Oregon and Louisiana.

Again, since the founders were not concerned about excessive state power they had no reason to limit states under the 2-8 amendments. The Supreme Court refused to apply the 3rd Amendment to the states in an earlier case.

No, he did not. The agents acted without authority.

Ruby Ridge standoff lasted for 10 days, and before that the legal procedures lasted for three years. There was three years worth of search warrants and arrest warrants authorizing everything, and then 10 days for Barr to hurn on the news and realize something was happening that he was against. Instead, he authorized everything.

The Waco raid also had complete legal authorization, secured by Barr. I can not complain about Barr failing to get legal authorization before either event.

Nope, you have no evidence that it reduces infection rates and it is a proven scientific fact that partial lockdowns prevent everyone from getting the antibodies necessary for denying the virus a host.

Wow, the amount of misinformation in that statement is mind boggling. Antibodies generally do not spread like an infection. The only way a lockdown could prevent everybody from getting the antibodies is by preventing everyone from getting the virus. Now slowing down the virus could allow the forming of antibodies before the body is overwhelmed by the virus. So a lockdown could, in theory, allow people to form antibodies better.

If that is the case why didn't your shithead issue travel restrictions from the EU? That is where the bulk of this virus came from in this country. His restriction didn't do jack shit. It's the only thing ignorant trump supporters can claim and even it was worthless.

TDS.

The 1st amendment has never applied to the States, and it still doesn't.
The 2nd through 8th amendments have always applied to the States and they still do.
The 9th and 10th amendments do not apply to the States and they still don't.

The 14th amendment changed none of that.

The Supreme Court does not have the authority to change the Constitution. 'Incorporation' is a buzzword.

ItN is quite delusional. Trump hates the Constitution and would like nothing more than to get rid of it,
TDS. Lie. Trump is not trying to get rid of the Constitution. The Democrats are.
because it restricts his power.
Trump has not exceeded any authority given him by the Constitution.
He aspires to be President For Life of the United States of Trump.
Lie.
