The establishment/media loathes Trump but they don’t ‘fear’ him. They can put up with him if they are forced to. But they don’t fear Trump will turn the country into Venezuela [you probably don’t agree with that but that’s what fear about Bernie].
So the establishment/media looks at Trump as the lesser of two evils but they clearly don’t ‘want’ either one of them. The only evidence you need to see is how the media props-up a candidate like Joe Biden. If there was an alternative to Biden [besides Bernie] the establishment media would Me2 him in a New York minute.
And everyone knows this. Say it with me—‘the media is despicable’. And yes, it is the enemy of the people.

No doubt Biden could run circles around Trump on any international matters. Trump is a Reality TV show host, not an international diplomat.

I'd be happy to have all candidates undergo a fully psychological evaluation with all results made public. Let the public see what they are getting.
Again, I have no doubt Biden knows more about international politics than Trump. Heck, even a first year PoliSci major knows more than Trump.
Everyone has to make their own choices in an election. I guess i am proud of every vote I have cast in the last 30 years.
Some people told me that Al Gore was basically no better than George Dumbya Bush, that John Kerry was not much better than Bush, and that Hillary Clinton was more corrupt than Donald Trump.
But the weird thing is, if my preferred candidates in those cases had won, I am convinced the nation would be substantially better off
