Biden attacks Trump voters ( then says he can win them back)

Biden is right about the politics of division. However, just read the posts from the Democrats on JPP to see they are equally driven by the politics of division by the derogatory way they (inaccurately) talk about the Trump voters.

Our politics is about those we dislike. Hillary's "basket of deplorables" is a beloved description by the Dems and is the reason working class voters have left the party.
Actually, Hillary was right about the Trump cult.

Pretty funny to hear Joe "they want to put y'all back in chains" Biden talking about division and unity. No politician is going to unite this country. I don't like to use this board as a proxy for the country because most people are here to troll, but people here talk about wishing death on others and wanting the country to split up far more than wanting to unify isn't unique to this board.

Did you just get back from a 4 year trip to Antartica ... you sure don't seem to know what 's going on.

Let me catch you up...

He isn't sure where he is half the time ... he looses his train of thought ... he rambles incoherently ... and he sniffs everything.

Vote for Uncle Joe!

Have you even watched trump at a rally, for instance? We always say he has the cocaine sniffles. :)

A hell of a lot longer than that. We gave Hussein the chemical weapons he used against Iran when Reagan was in office. We needed Iraq to keep Iran in check. Bush was a real genius when he opened Pandora's box.

Some of this is your opinion and ok ... however the bold part is just nonsense.

He's right. Most Republicans held their noses and voted for him, because they chose to make a deal with the devil. Many did it to avoid paying taxes. Others did it because they don't like birth control or abortion. The overwhelming majority did not like, nor do they now like trump. BTW..'conservatives' have been responsible for every budget crisis since Bush took office. Clinton cleaned up the mess from Reaganomics, albeit with a lot of luck from the tech boom. Conservatives aren't conservative at all. They're Republicans

Conservatives left the pubs a long time ago ... we vote for the most Conservative candidate ... there haven't been too many Conservatives to vote for lately.

Diehard pubs will go along with the party and they voted for Trump ... many RINO's jumped ship and supported Ms. Clinton ... these are the folks in question here.

RINOS tried to keep him from being the candidate. Rightfully so. They all fell in line in the end. If you're really a conservative Conservative and you voted for trump, you're an idiot.

RINO's supported Hillary ... were you down south ice fishing with the other guy the last four years.

Who should pubs have nominated ... Yeb? Just voted for Hillary? There a very few Conservatives left in the pub party.

Conservatives have no choice but to vote for the most Conservative candidate ... That was DJT in 2016.

He wasn't my first choice but he's doing a pretty good job ... he surprised me.

You sure like to award people opinions they do not have and haven't expressed ... the tell-tale sign of a neoprog lefty.

You're kidding about trump being the most conservative in 2016. What about Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee and rick santorum?

I don't watch his rallies ... I'm not a Trumpian, or Trumptard, or swear allegiance to any candidate.

But it's fair game to poke fun at the other guy ... Uncle Joe's nickname is sniffles.

I agree ... I voted for Cruz in the primary and would have voted for him in the general election.

It was between Trump and Clinton.

Between those two which is the most Conservative candidate ... take your time ... give it a tic.

Your party had the choice of more conservative candidates than trump, and everyone of them would have been better than he is. I never expect conservatives to vote for a liberal, no matter who it is.

Which is what will happen in November: fucking moron or not, dementia victim or not, most Americans will vote for either the "R" or the "D", not the actual name on the ticket. Like in 2016, I will refuse to vote for "the lesser of two evils" again; I'm voting a straight Libertarian ticket....unless Pence is the nominee then I'll vote for him.

pubs had lots of choices and in the end DJT won the nomination ... who knows about the other candidates ... that's left to the "what if" of history.

btw it's not my party ... I'm not a pub.

I never expect conservatives to vote for a liberal, no matter who it is.

We wouldn't vote for a lefty ... we would stay home.

President Trump is not a true Conservative, no argument here. He never met a spending bill he wouldn't sign and he's done little to fix the 0bamacare nightmare.

I have a lot of problems with President Trump as I do with all Presidents, but he sure ass hell isn't a neoprog lefty.

His judicial nominations are solid Constitutional Conservatives for example.

Congrats. You made the list in record time.

If that were true, she wold have won. What happened was that former Democrats crossed over and voted Trump and a large section of Democrats, pissed off at Bernie, stayed home. Republicans voted as usual thus tipping the unexpected win.

Although I think Trump still has the edge, this year all of the Democrats are pissed off and will have a record turnout while more Republicans are disappointed in Trump blowing up the deficit and national debt...not to mention his loony ideas and fucking up the COVID-19 response.

I don't think that I know that ... it's how he won in 2016 ... he wasn't an establishment candidate from either party.

A true outsider ... the reason so many dems and pubs went after him ... they still are.
His numbers are increasing because people know he is looking out for them ... even if he f's up once in awhile.
his approval is the same as when he started. which is remarkable considering
Impeachment Russia! Russia! Russia! the Emoluments clause, Mueller etc.

His personality is a NY glad hand salesman - but we love him because he acts in the best interest of the country
(albeit a few screw ups)

That’s hilarious and makes no sense, Trump is a big government Nationalist, why would any true conservative support that? Trump supporters aren’t true conservatives, no matter how hard you wish for it to be true.

To tell you the truth, that's only partially true.

Trump by vocalization fits into all 3 of the major Conservative groups, Neoconservative, Paleoconservative & Nationalist.

My guess he is 50% Neocon, 30% Paleocon & 20% Nationalist.

By practice, he's actually 0% Nationalist, however.
& 0% Paleoconservative.

It looks like he really can't do jack about the Illegals, or Obamacare.

To tell you the truth, by implemented policy he is 100% Neocon.

Even if he says different.

I understand ... it would be nice to have a viable third party. I vote Libertarian sometimes as well.

What's the best interests of this country?

Deporting less illegals than Obama?

Creating monstrous debt bigger than Obama's?

Stimulus & Bailouts bigger than Obama's?

To tell you the truth, Saddam Hussein would've been good right about now, to kick Iran & ISIS's behinds.

Of course, because of Dumbya Bush, we can't say that.

The only way for it to grow is for more conservatives to vote for it. Sure, it would help if more Democrats did, but most are far too left to do so. IMO, the Republican party has been imploding for two decades now. It may take another decade or two, but eventually it will go the way of the Whig party.
