We are talking about entirely mail-in voting because of the risk of COVID.

But you said about three posts ago that they were confident they would win. So why would the economy or other problems even matter? Why wouldn't Trump want mail-in voting?
Right...so the conditions for a loss are there. But if hes confident, why would he not want everyone to vote by mail? The only reason is because he doesn't think he can win, so he would need to not even have the election.

We can use mail-in ballots, internet voting, limiting the number of people at the polls at any time, etc. Just because Trump does not like it does not mean states will not choose to do it.

It most definitely will be. In fact, even Fauci's models show a resurgence happening in the fall. The virus will continue to be transmitted, mostly by asymptomatic carriers, until there is a vaccine. People who recovered will get it again, as patients have in China and Europe. So by going to the polls, voters risk another pandemic outbreak and more social distancing.

5 states already do all-mail voting. As do all service members, Americans abroad, and absentee voters. So there's no harm or risk of doing all mail-in, just like millions of Americans already do.
He absolutely thinks this and the reason he does is because the GOP already provided him cover to rig it.

The only reasons to oppose mail-in voting are:
1) You want Americans to get sick and die.
2) You don't want people to vote because of #1.
The higher turnout occurred in 2018 had nothing to do with mail-in ballots but people turning out to vote. 5 states already send ballots to all registered voters. Other states allow seniors, disabled, or others to have mail-in ballots. So anybody less likely to vote because of age, disability, convenience can already vote by mail.
By November we will be able to vote normally.

By November, COVID will re-surge and having everyone go out to the polls at the time will spread the disease, cause a spike in cases and deaths, and then force us all to go through social distancing AGAIN.
