The election is already over....

Of the three, only Fox is good at ratings.

The other two seem to be in the business of going out of business lol. Basically, because they are effectively the voice of the democrat establishment. Probably a big reason their ratings suck. And it’s never been more clear that they are in the tank for whoever the establishment candidate is and very much against Bernie.

Why? Because they have an agenda. They want establishment democrats to stay in power and Bernie is a threat to that. That makes them corrupt. Aka ‘enemy of the people’.

You don't think Fox has an agenda?

CNN & MSNBC are definitely left, but Fox is purely a campaign arm for Trump. Fox gets better ratings because it's the only real right-wing network; several networks split the left-wing audience.

Apparently you never heard of OAN.

He's been pretty clear in saying taxes will go up. We'd also have more funds after we cut all the tax breaks for billionaires and funds for the military industrial complex. Say what you will about AOC, but she gets one thing completely right. We only ask "how are they going to pay for it?" when it comes to helping the working-class. Nobody asks how are we going to pay for tax cuts for billionaires, funding for wars and occupations, donations to Israel, and such.

But doesn’t Bernie have a laundry list of things to pay for?

We can’t save the planet and pay for free college and the rest. The country will go bankrupt.

total tax revenues have INCREASED while under the Trrump REDUCTION in taxes.
Those "tax cuts to billionaires" have heated up the economy.

It's not the tax cuts, it's the spending is the problem, and ALL DEMS want to greatly increase spending

I was taught in a College Business Management class, that a supervisor doesn't need to know everything about the job; but instead needs to know how to get the people who do know, to do it.

That's the problem with "College Business Management" class, they don't know shit about fixing the problems that arise during manufacturing because they don't know everything about the job.
Then, you get some asshole college Human Resources Manager trying to hire for positions they know nothing about. Just think, they could hire Jack as your boss...

Chris Wallace is a Trumper? Judge Nappy is a Trumper? Juan Williams is a Trumper?

Too many people think Fox News begins and ends with Sean Hannity. They are the closest to ‘fair and balanced’ compared to the other cable outlets.

But it’s a fair point about Fox’s ratings secret. But that raises a question: why is Fox alone in being the conservative outlet? No other market operates that way. It’s just the opposite: as soon as Chrysler made the first minivan it was ‘game on’ to see which auto manufacturer could come up with their version of it.

But the news media is ‘uncapitalistic’ in the sense some competitors refuse to compete. Is it because ideology is more important than ratings to some of them?

Sure appears that way.

It's not that they refuse to compete, it's because they fail when they do compete. Their (hate-filled) ideology can't compete.

You’re right insofar as ideally it’s best that department managers know everything about the job. The best managers are the ones who worked their way up through the ranks.

OTOH, one could work their way up to management—and yet, suck at management lol. Management has its own skill set. I have no interest in it because I’d suck at it but I’m very good at what I do. Besides, I’d go insane if I had to sit at a desk and go to meetings all day.

My only point is it’s not *a necessity* to know all the ins and outs to be an effective manager. Ideally, a manager could disassemble the widget machine and put it back together again—but that’s the ideal.

But it’s a fair point that Fox wins the ratings war because no one is interested in crowding their share of the market.

Makes zero sense from a business aspect. Why doesn’t Jeff Zucker wake up one morning and realize Fox is beating him because no one else is competing for Fox’s market-share? In every other business Zucker would call a meeting and demand that his outfit start appealing to conservatives—before MSNBC did.

Their agenda/ideology is more important to them than anything.

Yes, most are.

True. Simple production doesn't require someone with extensive knowledge. But when it comes to fixing engineering issues (say with assembly issues), the supervisor better have the answers, or an idea how to correct them. I liked my job as manager because I was out in the shop a lot. I made prototypes and was around to answer questions when needed, or knew how to get those answers. The "College Business Manager" doesn't.

It's because they can't compete. How many tried to compete with Rush Limbaugh and failed? He cornered the market for radio political airtime.
Bottom line, more people prefer conservative ideology over liberalism, market share and ratings prove this.

CNN & MSNBC have their conservatives, as well. But overall, they are very liberal.

If you can't admit to Fox's right-wing bias & crusade for Trump, then you have blinders on. Period. Most conservatives don't pretend that Fox isn't a right-wing network.

Bingo.

And there’s not a single soul—including Trump, that is serious about cutting spending. Maybe in his second term Trump can ‘go radical’ and start deleting a few alphabet agencies by executive order.

If the socialists want to be taken seriously they’d say something like ‘we promise free college, but only AFTER we get done reducing the size of the federal government’.

More radio listeners. Not more people overall.

When polled on issues, most actually prefer progressive ideas.

I’ll concede their conservative slant but not the ‘Trump crusade’ hyperbole lol.

Unless you want to concede the others have been taking part in a coup attempt.

They're a campaign arm for Trump. Fox & Friends, Carlson, Ingraham, Watters. WAY more than simply Hannity.

"Coup" is pretty strong, but no doubt CNN & MSNBC are against Trump.
