In your defense Nordberg being a socialist it's understandable you don't get how business and markets work. In the mid '90's there were very few conservative voices on mainstream TV or cable. There was a huge opening which Murdoch met with Fox News. The result has been a huge money maker and ratings bonanza for the station. That is what I was commenting on. (And leaving aside the fact I already said I don't watch cable news it's funny how many liberals claimed they got their news from The Daily Show, so look in your own house before trying to call out others for pretend news.)

Now if you want to argue MSNBC, CNN & Fox News have done harm to political discourse in this country I'm open and receptive to the position. But that's not what I was commenting on.

Taxes will go up, all right, and as usual, the middle class will pay the blunt of them. I agree, the tax structure should be overhauled, but I don't want military spending cut. It should be audited for waste, though.

Taxes will go up, but the savings on healthcare mean the middle-class ends up with more money.
Does the military really need to be used to prop up Israel and play police to the world? We spend so much more on our military than any other country while Americans are suffering. Is that America First? We spend more money on Israel's military than Israel, meanwhile they have universal healthcare and we don't. Is that America First?

Will the reduction in quality healthcare be worth the tax increase? This is a largely populated country (not including all the illegal aliens), how long can a government run healthcare system remain solvent?

Get off the "Israel" platform, it's getting old. Again, I said we should audit military spending and cut the waste. How many citizens does Israel have to care for compared to the US? I'll bet they don't have the illegal alien problem the US has either.

I say we should pull our troops home, with every piece of infrastructure, and then rethink where they really need to be deployed.

Why would there be a reduction in quality? Doctors will still be getting paid. And as for the population, sure there are more people here, but that means more doctors too. And considering government run healthcare is still working in most countries that have it, it'll probably continue working for the foreseeable future.

Israel has less citizens, but they also have less doctors. This is why the population argument doesn't make sense. It's like saying four people have one watermelon, eight people have two watermelons, so everyone in the second group gets a smaller piece. It doesn't actually work that way.

What these liberal idiots don't understand is that socialism has NEVER worked any time it's ever been tried. It has ALWAYS failed. Just look at how wonderful it's doing right now in Canada. Socialism and globalism are turning Canada into a shithole. It's awful to see.
