Yet in 2017 and 2018 trump signed off on the aid to Ukraine with no caveats and no mention of the Bidens. Also, in 2017 trump met twice with the Ukraine president with no mention of the Bidens.

Some repubs also state that Zelensky isn't corrupt, but the previous president was. So it looks like trump was willing to send aid to the "corrupt" president but not to the honest president.

Whether Biden was corrupt or not does not prove or disprove whether Trump acted improperly. There is bad corruption in Afghanistan, Iraq, Honduras, Guatamala.....which we give aid to and nobody has shown any concern about them.
