Why would the Chief Justice demand that Trump, or any of his staff be forced to testify? Trump does not have to testify; one cannot be compelled to testify against oneself. If you had any clue about the law, you would know this already.
If others are forced to testify, the answer is simple; they will stand by the facts or invoke the fifth. So the purpose of this clown show in the House accomplished what?
This is an impeachment investigation of a sitting president. Hunter is not a government employee. Biden has done nothing wrong. However, if he did, it is not germane to this investigation.
