I had similar hopes but have come to realize any such notions pale in comparison to the absolute fear Republicans live in. Any of them can be squashed like bug in just one tweet.

every republican in the house and senate have taken Russian money via the NRA or even more directly


the GRU (the new KGB) has dirt on ever one of them

they fear more than a trump tweet


in reality I know not a one will protect our system from the Russian backed Trump teardown of our constitution


the republicans will turn the presidency into a dictatorship and hand all congressional oversite into the shredder


The people will have to work hard for YEARS to fix this evil mess they are making

But we will


we will regain the power of the people


and write new laws to end this precedent

hell you will have democrats who vote against impeachment in the House. Are they owned by Putin too?
 
Do they think they’re going to subpoena Hunter Biden and Shiff, While still stone walling Rudy and Mulvaney?
 
The Democrats and Republicans will be allowed to subpoena anyone they choose, and the only person to decide if the subpoena is valid will be John Roberts.

If the Chief Judge tells Rudy or Mulvaney or even Trump he must testify, and Rudy refuses... Contempt.

If the Democrats subpoena documents and Roberts approves.....
