Of course, being "stripped of their insurance" really means not having to pay those premiums. And single payer works in every other advanced nation. If "we have the most advanced healthcare system in the world", why is it that our outcomes trail most of the rest of the world? What we have is the most advanced specialists in the world, which is great if you've already got adequate basic care and can afford the specialist. Many of us don't and can't.
