Oh, so you wanted a quid pro quo?

Oh, so you wanted a quid pro quo?

Well we were going to impeach them anyway, even without one, because it’s not necessary But since you asked your the text messages. Bam, quid pro quo, bitch!

In one exchange dated Sept. 9, in a text Taylor sent to Sondland, the career diplomat says, "I think it's crazy to withhold security assistance for help with a political campaign."

Sondland responds: "Bill, I believe you are incorrect about President Trump's intentions. The President has been crystal clear no quid pro quo's of any kind."

Yeah...IMPEACH the POTUS FOR NOTHING....that'll workout great for you and the rest of the LYING LEFT.....

And yet, as you openly admit, that was a quid pro quo.

Thanks, whore!

Still waiting. When are you or anyone going to produce one?

so vote on it and follow Impeachment precedence..cowards

So this is pathetic.

Obviously, none of us on these boards have the power to launch an impeachment vote because we're not Reps in the House.

So what happened is that you got all bent out of shape and frustrated that no one buys your bullshit, so you foist an impossible task on us which gives you the cover to slink away from this shady and weak defense of Trump's treason.

Romney just tweeted about Trump, called him every name in the book

it looks clear to me he's mounting a dark horse bid for the GOP nomination at the RNC next year, by then Trump will maybe a civilian under 40-50 indictments and the Repubs will need to toss someone out there, Romney has tons of name recognition (and yet already lost to Obama)

good luck chumps

After the Toadstool, I'd be okay with Romney. At least he's reasonable, intelligent, has couth, won't sell us out or deliberately piss off our allies, and would restore some of America's tarnished regard in global affairs. I have a feeling that he would even actually work for *all* the people, not the 29% of fur-covered, drooling idiots that are Twittler's mainstay.

Along with...

Humiliating
Shameful
Cringe-Worthy
Gut-Wrenching
Heart-Breaking

When Trump finally drops dead, folks will be waiting in line to dance on his grave. He's an abomination!
Twitter has already determined it will have to be a hidden or well guarded grave because it will be desecrated.

disingenuous garbage.
we talk politics and process all the time without having any power about any of it

Smart people, good citizens, and clear-thinking minds examine and weigh all the evidence, consider the facts, deliberate, get their ducks lined up, and come to a reasoned conclusion in due course. There is no reason to leap to a procedural vote until the process is completed.

Obviously, I understand this is a foreign concept to conservatives who are ever so quick to leap out of their chairs to latch onto any conspiracy theory, from Climate Gate, to Hillary Clinton running a human trafficking gang out of a pizza parlor, to Barack Obama being a covert Kenyan-Muslim-Marxist.

You know how bad it is when people are nostalgic for GWB. Yikes, I’m not with that crowd, but some are there.

Merely saying a quid pro quo isn't a quid pro quo, doesn't suddenly not make it a quid pro quo.
as opposed to what? Schiff's dramatic reading falsely inserting testimony into the Congressional record?
your arguments are lame -go back to your voodoo economics

Just saying that it's not a quid pro quo doesn't mean it isn't.

If you rob a bank and say "it's not a bank heist", it's still a bank heist.

Yeah, this guy is doing nothing more than covering ass. He’s smart enough to know that everything in writing is forever. He’s a lot smarter than Trump, for sure, who goes on camera and solicits political assistance from foreign entities

why are you posting such hubris?

Look at other "Impeachment inquiries" -every one had a vote beforehand -why is Pelosi dictating
( dictator) imposing Impeachment on the House without a vote?

Madam Speaker does not take orders from Trump boot-lickers or from TV game show hosts posturing as presidents.

The presidential impeachment process

An impeachment proceeding is the formal process by which a sitting president of the United States may be accused of wrongdoing. The articles of impeachment are the list of charges drafted against the president. The vice president and all civil officers of the U.S. can also face impeachment.

The process begins in the U.S. House of Representatives, where any member of the House may make a suggestion to launch an impeachment proceeding. It is then up to the speaker of the House, as leader of the majority party, to determine whether or not to proceed with an inquiry into the alleged wrongdoing.

"The critical determination comes to the speaker about whether or not to forward it," Michael Gerhardt, a constitutional law professor at the University of North Carolina who authored a book on the impeachment process, told ABC News in 2017.

It may be worth if for you to note that your President is personally and directly responsible for the Republican Party losing control of the House of Reps.

I think the odds are increasingly good that your President will personally cost you the Senate and the White House as well
