Sondland responds: "Bill, I believe you are incorrect about President Trump's intentions. The President has been crystal clear no quid pro quo's of any kind."

After the Toadstool, I'd be okay with Romney. At least he's reasonable, intelligent, has couth, won't sell us out or deliberately piss off our allies, and would restore some of America's tarnished regard in global affairs. I have a feeling that he would even actually work for *all* the people, not the 29% of fur-covered, drooling idiots that are Twittler's mainstay.

Smart people, good citizens, and clear-thinking minds examine and weigh all the evidence, consider the facts, deliberate, get their ducks lined up, and come to a reasoned conclusion in due course. There is no reason to leap to a procedural vote until the process is completed.

Obviously, I understand this is a foreign concept to conservatives who are ever so quick to leap out of their chairs to latch onto any conspiracy theory, from Climate Gate, to Hillary Clinton running a human trafficking gang out of a pizza parlor, to Barack Obama being a covert Kenyan-Muslim-Marxist.

It may be worth if for you to note that your President is personally and directly responsible for the Republican Party losing control of the House of Reps.

I think the odds are increasingly good that your President will personally cost you the Senate and the White House as well
