Yet it is the Democratic Party of the Jackass who does not want voter ID laws. It was under Obama's watch the Russian effort occurred. I do wish you had a brain.

Two attempted "whataboutisms" to deflect the truth, but the facts remain, it ain't the Democrats nor Obama who have denied the documented episodes of Russian interference, and now it isn't the Democrats who don't seem all that concerned that it is happening again.

As I said, foreign nations not only know now that they can get away with but also that that party that benefits probably won't even acknowledge that it happened, the new normal in Trump's "greater America"

A long time. When Adlai Stevenson, running against Eisenhower in 1952, was approached by Kremlin agents wanting to know what they could do to help his campaign, he told them to get lost and informed the authorities.

Now, not so much. Anything to make America great again eh?

Trying, a long time, both Stevenson and Humphrey both reported Russian attempts to aid them in their elections efforts, but now we know that they successfully did interfere, and not only did they get away with it but the party and individual they helped won't acknowledge such nor do anything about it

Trump has given us a new normal, everyone and anyone is invited in

I'm sure for decades. But now it is far easier with social media, computers and hacking, and the ability to funnel money to preferred candidates through PACs and corporate donations.

The part you are missing, or probably just can't accept the fact, is that this is the first time it is documented as being successful, and the party that benefited will not acknowledge it, but also don't want to do anything to make sure it isn't successful in the future

It has been for decades. How many elections in this country were changed as a result of election meddling.

It's not about voting. It's about foreign govts. interfering in our elections via various means. Russian citizens did not vote in 2016 nor (as far as I've heard) did any of them attempt to. They did, however, hack into our computer systems to obtain personal information and information damaging to non-Trump candidates. I imagine that China doesn't think much of Trump because of the tariffs. Would you be okay with China hacking into our systems in 2020 to help out whoever the (D) candidate is?
