I predict Pelosi will call a press conference today or tomorrow

and announce her position on impeachment since Mueller dropped the hammer

hoping she goes with impeachment, hazardous to Dem chances next year if she doesn't

How do you figure? We don't have the votes in the Senate to carry through with impeachment and removal. All it will do if the House votes for it is fire up the Trumpanzees and get them to the polls.

I predict everybody's making waaaaay too much out of Mueller's statement today.
He only basically said leave me out of this shitstorm of politics. No big deal.

I think he is saying that he doesn't want to be questioned under oath and therefore any questioning by Congress will result in him saying 'look at the report'

no way there could more evidence of Trump's obstruction of justice, Barr's either

seems to me if the Dems' response to Trump's bald face daily lies, continued destruction of all US prestige abroad, plus the ongoing destruction of all political and constitutional norms at home - and for TWO MORE YEARS no less - they will surely forfeit any credibility with the voters, and be forever viewed as a House majority party too frightened by an OBVIOUS mega felon/wanna be Mussolini to get off of the couch......truly disgraceful

if an impeachment gives Il Duce 4 more years so be it, country's not worth saving

I didn't listen or read what he said other than what little I heard on npr on the way to da bidness this a.m. What was inappropriate?

Two things

1) When he said that indicting a sitting President is unconstitutional. It is not. It is DOJ policy, but it has never been deemed unconstitutional

2) When he said if we thought Trump was innocent we would have said it. That turned hundreds of years of jurisprudence on its head.

Innocent until proven guilty.

But, in the end Mueller really fucked over democrats

Right, which is to say, none.

Good grief, you're delusional. The air in Gammy's basement is very likely unhealthy. Do you have a dehumidifier down there?

Dropped the hammer? What did he say that we didn't already know from the report?

he dropped the hammer on Trump's only defense, a Barr lie

Mueller clearly stated he didn't recommend an indictment for two reasons:

accusing someone of a crime they cannot refute in court is inappropriate, just not done

the OLC's established 'policy' saying the president cannot be indicted in office, he passed again

got it Foxbot?
