No collusion!

Not only that, but the entire investigation lacked probable cause. And it's sick knowing that someone like Flynn faces financial ruin while McCabe and Comey are hawking their books on the interview circuit.

Not at all.

We don't know what Mueller determined because Barr refuses to share the report.

“The Special Counsel therefore did not draw a conclusion one way or the other as to whether the examined conduct constituted obstruction.“

In cataloguing the President's actions, many of which took place in public view, the report identifies no actions that, in our judgment, constitute obstructive conduct, had a nexus to a pending or contemplated proceeding, and were done with corrupt intent, each of which, under the Department's principles of federal prosecution guiding charging decisions, would need to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt to establish an obstruction-of justice offense.

Liar, where does it say insufficient evidence?

There was zero reason beyond the fantasies of anti-Trumpers to believe Trump colluded with Russia in the first place.

Until we see the report, the allegation stands.

Hiding the report and offering a "summary" doesn't exactly scream "exoneration" of anything.

No, it does not stand, and no amount of goal-post moving will change that.

There now needs to be a Special Investigation, to look into who was involved with the dossier.

:truestory:

It does not stand because it never did.

Sure it did. It stood enough to conduct an investigation by the Special Counsel.

Now the GOP is refusing to release that report, opting for a "take Barr's word for it" approach.

Barr has no credibility.

It stood only on lies and fabrication, and that's where it now sits.

Barr's the one saying this, but refusing to release the report.

So it's "take my word for it".

Why should anyone take Barr's word on anything?

Hello Heff,

None of which has to do with an election.

It will with the one in 2020. Republicans are usually more motivated to vote. They pretty much already turn out all the voters they can possibly muster. It's the Democrats who struggle to muster a strong turn-out.

That will change in 2020. Democrats now have a very powerful motivator to turn out to vote. I would not be surprised to see a record voter participation rate in 2020.

There is little the Republicans can do to increase voter participation. But the Democrats can and will turn out in much stronger numbers. Trump has provided them with the motivation to get out and vote.
