no you aren't "limiting". many good skilled jobs pay very well. The guy who put in my water softener worked in the business and then opened his own business. He's expanded 2x.
Great. Anecdotes mean nothing to me and cannot be extrapolated to the larger labor market.
Compare that to mountains of student debt and a liberal arts that is over saturated supply
Student debt only exists because public colleges aren't free, and as states cut budgets, those cuts are felt in the tuition increases for state schools. So if you're going to cry crocodile tears over student loan debt, just know that debt is only the result of a Conservative effort to de-legitimize higher education in an effort to keep people dumb and complacent.
500k manufacturing jobs increase under Drumpf is not a "fairy tale"
For every job they "create", we lose one to outsourcing and automation. How many businesses have announced plans to move offshore? BMW, Harley Davidson, Carrier, etc.
Also, wages for 90% of workers haven't grown...in fact, for many real wages have decreased. Meanwhile, income growth for the top 1% is above the national average, which is why they say wages grew 3.1%...well, duh, the 1% saw their wages grow 3.7%, which means wage growth for everyone else was below that magic 3.1% number, and is flat to inflation.
