This distinction is meant to lend yourself some credibility as you continue to make bullshit points and denials that no one believes are genuine or sincere.

Democrats were defending 10 seats in states Trump won in 2016.
Conservatives won only 4 of those states.
That's 40%, which is an F.
And Conservatives lost two Senate seats, one of which was in a state Trump won in 2016 (Arizona).
The Senate popular vote for Democrats was even larger than the margin in the House.
Democrats received about 16,000,000 more votes in the Senate, in the agggregate, than Conservatives. That's 6,000,000 more votes than the margin Democrats had in the House.

What I find suspicious is that you say you don't support Trump (now), yet you're defending all the principles and policy behind what Trump and the GOP have done.

And half the seats? About? Huh? Not counting the seat in North Carolina that Conservatives won through Election Fraud, Democrats gained 41 seats in the House, and netted out to 40. Conservatives gained 63 seats in 2010.

Is 64% = 50%? Only in Conservatardia where Conservatives have to lie and exaggerate so they don't have to admit their beliefs are unpopular, that they're seeing themselves up for an electoral wipe-out in 2020, and that following that wipe-out, will be largely ignored in the national conversation.
It's important to your argument to establish insincerity as sincerity because you've tied everything to the veracity of your beliefs. So if those beliefs are just phony nonsense, then what does that do to your overall credibility? See, in order for your re-brand to work, I have to buy your sincerity. Well, I am not buying it. I think you're just a poseur who is looking to feel better about being a poseur by trying to convince people your sincere beliefs are genuine when we all know they're not.
