Conservatives must have really taken the 2018 election results hard because their responses since have been pretty weak and insincere.

Just not feeling it like I used to...almost as if the wind being taken out of their sails can focus the attention to the big holes in the boat, with the biggest hole being the intellectual bankruptcy of their governing ideology. I think they truly believed there would be a #Walkaway, and that the economy would be growing by leaps and bounds. Neither is/was the case, though. Even they're recognizing that this economy is total weak sauce, and they seem unable to defend it on any terms other than "3% growth!"

Is it really 3% growth? Who's seeing the growth? It's not the market because that's down for the year. It's not wages for 90% of workers because those are also down. It's not in jobs because this is the weakest year of job growth since 2011. It's not in housing either.

Yeah...I'm not feelin' it from Conservatives and haven't since election day.

The magic is gone.

Conservatives will spend the next year or so testing the waters for a new rebrand a la teabags in 2009, and MAGA in 2015.

Problem is, we know their playbook now.

A rebrand isn't in the cards anymore.

??? When did I wish death on millions and that their children will become addicted to heroin? Aren't their kids already addicted to heroin? And aren't they already drinking themselves to death out of despair?

I don't wish death on these people; I just want to cast them aside and leave them behind. 2018 gave me the sense that is possible. We don't need these people to move forward. We don't need to wait for them to catch up to the rest of us. We can leave them behind to stew and drink themselves to death, and that is perfectly OK. They don't want to be a part of society anyway, so fuck 'em. Let them rot, let them kill themselves, let them erase their own existence. I really don't give a shit about them anymore. I'm not convinced they will ever change their minds. So we can just let them flail, wither, and die on their own. That's what they want.

A woman who has worked for years as a maid at President Trump’s New Jersey golf club is an undocumented immigrant, The New York Times reported Thursday.

The news outlet profiled Victorina Morales, who reportedly crossed the border illegally in 1999 and was hired at Trump’s Bedminster Golf Club in 2013. She told the news outlet she used “phony” immigration papers to secure employment.

The Times reported that Morales has "made Trump’s bed, cleaned his toilet and dusted his crystal golf trophies" during her time working at Bedminster.

The revelation comes as the Trump administration cracks down on illegal immigration, one of the hallmarks of the president's agenda. Trump himself has repeatedly used vitriolic rhetoric to describe immigrants.

You don't recall doing that? You wish death on me all the time but you don't recall saying all Republicans should die and their children should get heroin addictions?
 
Trust me...Republicans are feeling it. Just look at what the outgoing losers are doing in Michigan/Wisconsin, and what they did in N.C last year.
