This might be difficult for you to grasp, but I'll try. The simple fact is that you don't have to raise taxes. You can just simply cut spending ding. For instance, do you have any idea how much money we could save by suspending any and all aid for illegal aliens and kicking
them out of the country?

That will not result in a net gain. The hit to the economy will offset any spending reductions. Revenue will drop accordingly. Basically, if all the illegal aliens are deported, then all the jobs they perform will go unperformed. The economy will slow down. So, the guy who hires the illegals will see his business go away. He won't be paying taxes any more. Revenue will drop.
