I do not feel the least bit guilty for not carrying water for people who think I should be punished. My needs will be fine with or without them. At this point it is just a game of wants. I have been reared in sustainable living practices since birth.

I am constantly saddened by what I have witnessed during my life. America has become a throw-away society. The first time I heard of the idea, I could hardly believe people would buy a bottle of nothing more than water. Throw away this. Throw away that. Single use. Disposable. Easy. Out of sight out of mind. Outta sight, man!
The streets are not paved with gold; they are paved with plastic and litter.
We can't move mountains but we can create them. Our landfills are bigger than ever and still growing.
Most of the products on the shelf of our big box stores and online will be used for less than 6 months before ending up in the landfill.
We have a very efficient economy which functions as follows: We extract raw materials from our habitat causing great pollution, use very low paid labor to turn them into products, which are used for wealth extraction of what little is paid to the workers, all to amass great wealth for a few.
And along the way we are depleting our natural resources faster than every thought possible as we destroy our own habitat and cause it to be so inhospitable for civilization that masses of refugees have begun to move to less destroyed regions.
And still we don't get it or see that what we are doing is not sustainable.
It is not sustainable to allow the human race to multiply without restraint.
We have brains but we are not using them in the big picture.
We really do need much better education. What we are doing as a society is dumb.

Cities across this nation have graduated the last 20 generations of children with High School educations by adding a school tax to everyone's property taxes.
The City of Dallas installed a Massive Mass Transit system by increasing their local sales tax by only 1 cent!
