HUGE!! Trump to end birthright citizenship!!!

It is quite ironic isn't it that those who cried for ages about originalism and textualism turn into outright arbitrary constitution denying monsters once handed absolute power?

its obvious that your going to get a friendly court to file a TRO on this which is fine. For something this major im perfectly willing to wait for it to make its way up to the SC.

No originalist will approve this. Trump has violated his oath of office by issuing this illegal order.

A good lawyer, Brad, doesn't attempt shitty arguments that a non-lawyer like me can destroy with a simple internet search.

You literally believe your fuhrer can repeal the 14th amendment by fiat. Who gives a fuck what your legal opinions are? You are a supporter of arbitrary despotism and tyranny.

Nope.. You don't know the meaning of jurisdiction. US law has jurisdiction on US soil. Not French law, or British law or Egyptian law.. Only the US has jurisdiction.

YOU STUPID JACKASS. You're talking about legal jurisdiction and the 14A is talking about political jurisdiction.

If TRump were to succeed in this, he wont and he knows it, he is just trying to regain control of the argument a week before the election, we would no longer be a Constitutional Democracy.

That's a terrible argument, Brad. That's like saying that a person who breaks into your house can't be prosecuted because they aren't in your family.

Incredibly stupid, especially someone claiming to be a lawyer. How did you ever pass the Bar?

The United States is not a house. You and me are not family. It is a country with written laws. We follow those written laws. Or I do. You are an enemy of that nation.

Diplomats are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. Indian tribes are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. In both cases, disagreements are handled state to state - we do not apply our jurisdiction to diplomats, we at worst expel them to their home country. And conflicts between the US and the Indian tribes were handled state to state, thus, the Indians were not subject to our jurisdiction. Immigrants present in the US, are subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. We can and do directly apply our legal authority as sovereign to them, we do not handle these things purely on a state to state basis.

These people want to suspend the constitution and establish a dictatorship where Trump has unlimited arbitrary rule by decree powers. They hate the law. They hate that it restrains their evil desires.

You will lose if it were to get to the Supreme Court.

You people at disgusting. The words of the constitution couldn't be clearer This is legally meaningless, and so contrary to the law as to be abrogation of his oath of office and grounds for impeachment. Do you honestly think any judge in America is going to hold up Trump abolishing the constitution via an EO?

Trump is the one upholding the constitution. Judges had no authority to legislate birthright citizenship. The constitution says only congress can write laws. THINK

This is long overdue. Natural born, doesn't mean you come here illegally and have anchor babies.

They should not nor ever have been recognized as citizens.

In his interview Trump claimed the US was the ONLY country with birthright citizenship.. He's always been stupid.

Now he thinks he is going to change the 14th amendment.

No - trump is not trying to change the 14A. The courts changed it when they said it mandates birthright citizenship.

Hey DUMBASS! That means that he could DESIGNATE you, me, any enemy, any one who doesn't vote his way, NOT A US CITIZEN. Think about it.

As for Melania and her parents? I'm sure a PRESIDENT can make exceptions for models and chain migrate her parents.

:laugh::rofl2:

good thinking.
I'm not sure how you would draft a claim, but I'm sure some state(s) could file suit
