Trump news conference performance 'nothing short of treasonous'

Yeah the same intel agency that sold Trump out.

“This is bizarre and flat-out wrong. The United States is not to blame. America wants a good relationship with the Russian people but Vladimir Putin and his thugs are responsible for Soviet-style aggression. When the President plays these moral equivalence games, he gives Putin a propaganda win he desperately needs.”
- Senator Ben Sasse (R- Nebraska)

“From the President on down, we must do everything in our power to protect our democracy by securing future election from foreign interference, regardless of what Vladimir Putin or any other Russian operative says,”
-Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah)

“President Trump’s decision to side with Putin over American intelligence agencies is disgraceful and detrimental to our democratic principles. Russia remains our number one geopolitical adversary; claiming a moral equivalence between the United States and Russia not only defies reason and history, it undermines our national integrity and impairs our global credibility,”
- Mitt Romney

The 1980s called. They want their foreign policy back

I knew the left would erupt in some phony outrage and boy they didn’t disappoint.

Can’t wait for Mika and Joe Underwood’s hand wringing tomorrow morning.

No, I'm not. I'm against every war. I have been against war much more than you.

Yours is a false premise. Either I accept Trump's amateur-hour diplomacy, or I'm a warmonger.

Sorry, anatta - I'm actually an adult, and I think for myself. Today was awful. To see an American President side with Russia's leader against us - and yes, that's what he did. And it's not overwrought to see something that obvious and surreal.

He did not side with Russia over us.

America has been giving ' moral equivalence ' propaganda victories to thieves, murderers and ethnic cleansers for decades.
It has become the walking-stick for fascism.
For purging, apologies, hand-washing and forgiveness start right here;

Senator Ben Sasse ( R. Nebraska ) is a hypocritical ass.

catch 22 for trump. Agree with the Russian collusion narrative and delegitimize your own presidency. Disagree and the dems call you a russian puppet.

He did not side with Russia over us.

It must be horrible for you assholes to have to defend that abomination in the White House.

If it were not so horrible for the rest of us...and for everyone on the planet...those of us who see you puppets for what you are would be laughing at you.

You guys are a joke...in the saddest kind of way.

Don't be silly. I didn't support regime change under bush, and I wouldn't support it under trump. And I don't trust Assange any more than I trust Putin.

Do you or don't you think Putin's a liar, and I mean based on everything, not just interfering.

Of course Putin will lie if it suits his purposes. What a silly question.

Which begs the question of why bother asking him about the alleged meddling? If you know he will simply deny it, why bother with it?

And browbeating him over it is counterproductive if there are more important issues on the table.

Last night on the news they played translated clips from Russian broadcast news. They were glowingly praising Putin for his diplomatic triumph over the U.S. Our patriots might want to think about that a bit.

But I thought we couldn’t believe the Russians lol.

There will be no triumph of words. Let’s see what *actions* follow after the summit. Then we’ll discuss who ‘triumphed’.

Hoping for another hacking job this November, so the (R)s "win" again, Patriot?

we are stuck on stupid

And The Stupid entails making meddling the prime issue of the talks.

That’s all the talking heads were going on about for weeks. ‘Will Trump press Putin on meddling’, like little or nothing else matters.
the whole thing sucks up all the oxygen..very once in awhile some talking head refers to Ukraine-
never going into the Little Green Men, and on and on...

but really all they want to talk about is Mullet
